About Us
The main purpose of our database is to be able to make retrieiving tax clients information more accessible so that it's easier to track volunteer hours, learn how much money was refunded, and keep up with interactions between clients/volunteers/supervisors in our program. In the reports, the information is divided up so that a client can be searched based on what volunteer helped them and what supervisor they were under, in order to track any successes or failures to make moving forward more efficient. Additionally, we made it easy to look at how much refunds volunteers individually made and how much average refunds were made based on city. This way, the company can see what volunteers they would like to recruit for again in the future to make their program keep running smoothly as well as to see what cities to target. Lastly we are able to track the amount of hours each member of the affiliated volunteer organization in order to give them credit so that hours aren't documented incorrectly, like they have been in the past.
The forms created in the database are an easy way for the company to keep information on their clients, supervisors, and their volunteers. The forms provide a way to access information like contact information, volunteer ID, client ID, and so on. This makes accessing and documenting information more simple and efficient. Both the forms and reports will help the company with their long term and short term goals and therefore benefits everyone involved in the tax assistance program.
